PVC Banners

Heavy-duty PVC banners built for outdoor conditions. UV-resistant inks, welded hems, brass eyelets. They go outside and they stay looking good.

If you've ever hung a cheap banner outside and watched it disintegrate in a week, you already know why PVC banners matter. Our Auckland banner and signage team prints PVC banners Auckland businesses actually reorder because they hold up. Heavy-duty material, UV-stable inks, welded hems. They go outside, they stay looking good, and they do the job month after month.

What are PVC Banners?

There's a reason PVC became the go-to for outdoor banners. It handles rain without soaking through, wind without ripping at the eyelets, and sun without fading to nothing. The surface is smooth and sealed, so you get punchy colours and text people can actually read from across the road. Simple as that. Have a look at our full Auckland banner store range if you want to see what else we do.

We print PVC banners for just about everything. Retail advertising, event signage, construction site branding, real estate marketing, promo displays, and plenty of permanent outdoor setups too. Size isn't a problem. Small hanging banners, massive displays stretching several metres, anything in between. Every single one gets welded hems, brass eyelets, and finishing matched to where it's going. If you also need custom vinyl graphics, check out our vinyl sign cutting services.

We've been printing PVC banners for construction companies, retail shops, event organisers, and trades businesses around Auckland for years. They keep coming back because the banners hold up.

When You Need Us

When You Need PVC Banners

1

Retail Shopfront Advertising

Stick a bold PVC banner out front and people walking past actually notice your sale or your new product line. The material handles being outside all day, every day. Rain or shine.

2

Construction Site Branding

That temporary fence around your build site is prime real estate. A printed PVC banner turns it into advertising that works the whole time construction is happening.

3

Real Estate Marketing

Developers and agents hang PVC banners to show off what's coming, list property details, and get enquiries from people driving or walking past the site.

4

Event Signage

Outdoor events and Auckland weather don't always cooperate. PVC banners stay looking sharp whether it rains, blows, or the sun comes out. One less thing to worry about on the day.

5

Sports Ground Advertising

Sponsor banners cop months of sun, rain, and the odd rugby ball. Good PVC banners survive entire seasons without looking wrecked.

6

Industrial and Trade Premises

If you run a workshop or yard, a PVC banner on the street side tells people who you are and what you do. Better than no signage at all. Much better, actually.

7

Temporary Promotions

Got a sale running? Seasonal offer? PVC banners go up fast, look sharp, and come down just as easy when the promo wraps up.

8

Parking and Directional Signage

Point customers in the right direction with directional banners that hold up outdoors and stay readable from the road.

9

Agricultural and Rural Applications

Farm gates, rural businesses, ag events. PVC banners give you visibility out in the sticks where permanent signage might not make sense.

10

Festival and Market Stalls

Market days get busy. A branded PVC banner behind your stall helps people pick you out of the crowd and remember your name next week.

Our Process

Our PVC Banners Process

01

Requirements Discussion

First things first. Where's this banner going? Inside? Outside? How far away will people be reading it? That kind of detail shapes what material weight and finishing we recommend.

02

Artwork Preparation

Send us your artwork, or we can put something together in-house. Either way, we set the files up for large-format printing so colours pop and text stays sharp at the viewing distance.

03

Material Selection

Not every job needs the heaviest PVC. Permanent outdoor spots and windy locations call for the thicker stuff. A sheltered promo banner? Standard weight does fine.

04

Production

We print with UV-stable inks on quality PVC substrate. That combination keeps your colours looking right after weeks and months in the Auckland sun instead of washing out.

05

Finishing

Every banner gets welded hems, not glued or sewn, so the edges don't fray. Brass eyelets go in at the right spacing for however you're hanging it, and stress points get extra reinforcement.

06

Quality Check

Before anything leaves our Swanson workshop, we go over print quality, colour accuracy, hem integrity, and eyelet placement. If something's off, we fix it before it reaches you.

07

Delivery or Installation

We deliver to your Auckland location ready to hang. Bigger install or something up high? Our team can handle the fitting across the Auckland region.

Why Choose Us

Why Choose Falcon Signs for PVC Banners?

Weather-Resistant Construction

Heavyweight PVC and UV-stable inks. Rain, wind, summer sun. Auckland throws a bit of everything at outdoor banners and these handle it without falling apart or fading out.

Vibrant Print Quality

Smooth PVC gives you sharp text and punchy colours that stay readable at a distance. No point having a banner if nobody can read it from across the car park.

Welded Hems and Reinforced Edges

Welded hems, reinforced edges, brass eyelets. The finishing is what keeps a banner looking good and hanging properly for its entire outdoor life. Not just the first couple of weeks.

Custom Sizing

Small banners, massive banners, odd sizes. We print whatever dimensions your project needs. No standard size restriction holding you back.

Local Production

Everything gets printed and finished right here at our Swanson workshop. We're not outsourcing your job overseas or across town. That means we control the quality and can move quickly when you need us to.

Installation Available

Need it hung up high or in an awkward spot? We do installs across Auckland. Not just printing and waving goodbye.

Frequently Asked Questions - PVC Banners

Most outdoor banners do well in 440gsm to 510gsm PVC. The 440gsm handles promo banners, temporary displays, and sheltered spots just fine. If it's going to live outside permanently or the site gets hammered by wind, go with 510gsm. We'll talk through what makes sense for your situation.

We weld the hems rather than sewing or gluing them. That's the difference between edges that hold and edges that fray after a few weeks outside. Brass eyelets go in every 300-500mm depending on size. High-stress spots get reinforced corners and webbing edges as well. We can also do pole pockets or rope edges if that suits your mounting setup better.

Regular printing ink breaks down fast in direct sunlight. UV-stable inks have additives that resist that breakdown, so your colours hold their intensity a lot longer. Pair that with quality PVC and your banner stays looking sharp through months of outdoor exposure rather than washing out in the first few weeks.

We print up to 3.2 metres wide in one piece. Need it wider? We join panels with heat-welded seams that stay weatherproof and look clean. Length is basically unlimited. We've done fence runs and large-scale displays stretching dozens of metres. No drama.

Absolutely. Roll it print-side out around a cardboard tube after each use and store it somewhere dry. Wipe it with soapy water if it's dirty. But don't fold it. Creases set permanently in PVC and you can't get them out. Look after it properly and the same banner will serve you across multiple events and seasons.

For bold colours and sharp graphics, PVC banners beat mesh for most advertising. But if you're wrapping scaffolding, covering a building facade, or dealing with a seriously windy spot, printed mesh is safer because it lets about 30% of wind through. Less stress on the mounting, less chance of the whole thing coming down. Ground-level fence advertising? PVC looks better every time.

You've got a few choices. Eyelet fixings with cable ties, rope, or hooks are the most common. Pole pockets let the banner slide onto poles for a clean look. Tensioning systems with rope edges give you that nice taut finish. And if it's a tricky install, up high or in an awkward spot, we come out and fit it for you anywhere in Auckland.
