Spot Graphics

Custom spot graphics, from logo decals and promo stickers to wall spots and decorative vinyl elements that build brand presence without covering every surface.

A logo here. A branded decal there. A decorative element on that blank wall nobody knows what to do with. Custom spot graphics Auckland businesses use aren't about plastering vinyl on every surface. They're about placing the right visual element in the right spot, so it registers with people as they move through your space. Our Auckland vinyl signage specialists make spot graphics Auckland companies count on for building consistent brand presence across premises, equipment, and the touchpoints customers actually notice.

What are Spot Graphics?

Spot graphics fill gaps where bigger signage can't go or doesn't make sense. They brand individual items, mark locations, add visual interest to bare surfaces, and stack up your identity across every customer interaction. A logo on a door, a graphic on a counter front, a decal on a piece of gear. Individually small. But a customer walks through and encounters your brand ten, maybe fifteen times? That builds familiarity fast. For businesses running multiple sites, spot graphics roll out consistent branding at a fraction of large-format costs. We also produce vinyl lettering when you need text-based identification alongside graphic elements.

Our spot graphics service covers logo decals, promotional stickers, wall spots, equipment branding, decorative vinyl elements, counter graphics, directional markers, and branded accent pieces. We also produce durable floor-level graphics and custom-made vinyl signage alongside. Sizes range from tiny decals through to feature wall elements, with options for cut vinyl, printed vinyl, and contour-cut graphics that follow whatever shape you need.

Auckland businesses from retail chains to trade outfits trust Falcon Signs for spot graphics that tie brand presence together and give premises and equipment a finished, put-together look.

1

Office Branding

Logo on the reception desk is the starting point. Then meeting room doors, feature walls, glass partitions. Even the printer gets one. Visitors and staff encounter your brand constantly without the space feeling overdone.

Counter front graphics near the till, promo decals beside featured products, branded elements on display cabinets. Captures attention in the moments when customers are already looking around.

3

Our Process

Our Spot Graphics Process

01

Application Assessment

First we talk about where these are going. Surface type, viewing distance, indoor or outdoor, how much abuse they'll take. A logo on a smooth office wall needs totally different vinyl than a decal going on outdoor machinery.

02

Design Development

Working from your existing artwork or creating new designs, we optimise graphics for spot application. Sizing matters a lot here, too small and it vanishes, too big and it looks clumsy on the surface.

03

Material Selection

We match vinyl to the application. Smooth indoor wall? Standard calendered is fine. Curved outdoor equipment? Cast vinyl that conforms and lasts. The material choice drives how long these hold up.

04

Production

Precision cutting gear delivers clean edges and accurate reproduction, whether it's cut vinyl shapes or full-colour printed graphics.

05

Finishing

Graphics get weeded, transfer-taped, and prepped for application. Anything complex gets positioning guides so installation goes right the first time.

06

Quality Check

Every spot graphic gets looked over for edge accuracy, colour match, and finish before it leaves our workshop.

07

Installation or Delivery

We install on site for jobs where it needs to look polished. Or we ship them ready for self-application with clear instructions, your call.

Frequently Asked Questions - Spot Graphics

You want smooth, clean surfaces that aren't porous. Painted walls, glass, metal, plastic, laminate, sealed timber, all good. Textured surfaces like brick or rough concrete? Usually not. The vinyl needs consistent contact with the surface to stick properly. We'll tell you upfront if your surface is going to cause problems.

Cut vinyl means solid-coloured film cut into shapes. Great for logos, text, simple clean designs. Printed spot graphics are full-colour images digitally printed onto vinyl, so you can do photographs, gradients, multi-colour artwork, anything really. Both types can be contour-cut to follow the outline of the design rather than staying rectangular.

For gear that takes a beating, we use industrial-grade vinyl with strong adhesive and protective lamination over the top. These decals handle vibration, regular cleaning, and rough handling. With proper application on a clean surface, you'll typically get 3-5 years even in harsh conditions. The key word there is 'proper application', surface prep matters.

Yes, but it takes the right material. Conformable cast vinyl stretches and moulds around compound curves, rivets, and uneven surfaces without lifting at the edges or wrinkling. Standard calendered vinyl handles flat surfaces well enough, but for anything tricky you need the cast stuff. It costs a bit more, and it's worth every cent on curved applications.

Keep it simple. Mild soapy water and a soft cloth, wiping gently in one direction. Don't use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or pressure washers, those will eat into the vinyl edges. For stubborn marks, a dedicated vinyl cleaner left to sit for a minute before gentle wiping usually does the trick.

Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) are ideal for cut vinyl because they scale cleanly to any size. For printed graphics, high-resolution raster images work well, 300dpi minimum in JPEG, PNG, or TIFF. If all you've got is a low-res screenshot or a business card, we can usually recreate or vectorise the artwork.

Standard vinyl? No. It's permanent once it's down, and trying to peel and restick will damage the graphic. But if you know you'll need to move things around, we offer removable vinyl with lower-tack adhesive. It allows careful repositioning during install, though it's mainly suited to indoor use.
